Abstract
Financijski izvještaji su glavni nositelji računovodstvenih informacija, a kao temeljni financijski izvještaji navode se bilanca (izvještaj o stanju u određenom trenutku) te račun dobiti i gubitka (izvještaj o toku koji pokriva određeno razdoblje). Predmet ovog završnog rada je analiza uloge financijskih izvještaja u definiranju strategije banke, a kao primjer za analizu odabrana je Erste&Steiermärkische Banka iz čije poslovne strategije je vidljivo kako na njeno definiranje značajan utjecaj imaju podaci iz financijskih izvještaja. Temeljni problem koji se u radu obrađuje je pitanje na koji način banka analizira financijske izvještaje i na koji način dobivene informacije koristi u definiranju poslovne strategije. Cilj rada je na primjeru odabrane banke prikazati utjecaj financijskih izvještaja na kreiranje strategije.
Abstract (english)
The financial statements are the main holders of accounting information, and as the underlying financial statements, the balance sheet and the profit and loss account are reported. The subject of this final paper is an analysis of the role of financial statements in defining the Bank's strategy. Erste & Steiermärkische Bank has been selected for the analysis, from whose business strategy it is apparent that financial statements have a significant influence at strategy definition. The underlying problem discussed in this paper is the question how the bank analyzes the financial statements and how the information obtained is used in defining the business strategy. The aim of the paper is to show the influence of financial statements on strategy creation in the example of the selected bank.
