Abstract
Rad opisuje ulogu društvenih mreža u promociji i razvoju udruge za zaštitu životinja “Dog&Go”. Pritom definira društvene mreže i dijeli ih na tri generacije, navodeći najvažnije značajke svake od triju generacija (primjerice interaktivnost, prosječna starost korisnika, način komunikacija, anonimnost i slično). Naposljetku rad sadržava studiju slučaja navedene udruge i njezina djelovanja na društvenim mrežama Facebook i Instagram, kao i prijedloge za daljnje poboljšavanje marketinškog djelovanja.
Abstract (english)
The paper describes the role of social networks in the promotion and development of the "Dog&Go" animal protection association. In doing so, it defines social networks and divides them into three generations, stating the most important features of each of the three generations (for example, interactivity, average age of users, method of communication, anonymity, and so on). Finally, the paper contains a case study of the aforementioned association and its activity on the social networks Facebook and Instagram, as well as suggestions for further improvement of marketing activities.
