This final work is about the promotion of contemporary artistic photography in Croatia. Artistic photography, specifically contemporary photography, is a very narrow term that we observe through promotion of a non-profit sector as part of the marketing mix. In order to make it easier to understand the topic of promotion and the visibility of contemporary art photography, the work starts with a definition and invention of a photography, explanations of the classification of photography by types, a list of the most important theoreticians of photography and their contribution, the history of artistic photography in Croatia, and the education and training of photographers in Croatia. All of the above leads to the sixth chapter of the paper, which talks about the specifics of photography promotion. In that part, promotion and promotion in the non-profit sector are defined. After that, the segments which represent contemporary artistic photography in Croatia are listed. Paper talks about significant photographic associations, galleries and festivals, then museums that have significant photographic collections in their holdings, the problem of the lack of a main photography institution in Croatia, which has been discussed for more than a half of the century, and finally about various electronic and printed media in which represented contemporary artistic photography. In the conclusion of the paper, the possibilities for the progress of the scene, as well as the ways that would improve the stability and visibility of contemporary photography in Croatia, are explained.
