The tram cars as a function of tram transport subsystems today encompasses more complicated and complex technical systems, including approaches to maintenance are becoming more demanding. It is necessary to apply modern concepts of maintenance to achieve optimal effects of maintaining the technical and economic sense. In this paper I review of maintenance concepts and ideas about keeping the latest trends, including further development of maintenance.
