Abstract
Strategija je bila skovana u Ateni oko 508.-507.godine prije Krista, gdje je deset strategoi obuhvaćalo atensko ratno vijeće koje je imalo veliku političku i vojnu moć. Strategos ili general izvodi se iz stratos (vojska) i agein (voditi) pa je tako u izvornom smislu strategija „umijeće vođenja vojske“. Postoji puno definicija strategije pa tako svaki autor ima svoje viđenje iste. Strategija se može definirati kao određivanje temeljnih dugoročnih ciljeva poduzeća i usvajanje pravaca akcija i alokacija resursa potrebnih za ostvarenje tih ciljeva. Struktura se može definirati kao oblik organizacije putem koje se poduzeće upravlja. U formuliranju strategije predlažu da menadžeri trebaju uspostaviti balans mogućnosti eksternog tržišta s internim kompetencijama i resursima poduzeća, menadžerskih osobnih vrijednosti i aspiracija. Strateški menadžment se kao koncept razvio tokom vremena i nastavit će se i dalje razvijati. U strateškom menadžmentu svi zaposleni su uključeni u realizaciju postavljenih ciljeva, ali u poduzeću moraju biti definirati odgovarajući organi koji će biti glavni u tom procesu . U tom se smislu najviše ističu odbor direktora, vrhovni menadžment i odjel za planiranje. Njihov je utjecaj u tom procesu najvažniji. Za pronalaženje, izbor i formuliranje strategija razvijeni su mnogi alati strateškog menadžmenta. Kao što su SWOT analiza, TOWS analiza, PEST analiza, STP analiza, BCG matrica, ABC analiza, ANSFFOVA matrica, VRIO metoda. Neki alati se odnose na unutarnje, a neki na vanjsko okruženje. Strateški alati mogu biti od velike pomoći kada se u nekom poduzeću trebaju razmotriti neki slučajevi na kvalitetan i učinkovit način.
Abstract (english)
The strategy was made in Athens between 508-567 before Christ where there were 10 strtegoi who formed the Athens War Council which had great political and military power. Strategos or general is derived from the word stratos (army) i agein (lead) . So originally the definition of strategy is “the skill of leading the army”.There are many definitions of strategy and each author has its own vision of it. Strategy can mean defining the companies basic long - term objectives and accept plans and alocatios resources needed to realize the objectives planned. The structure can be defined as the type of the company and the way how the company is managed. Managers should form a balance between the possibilities of the external market and the company own internal competences and resources and managers personal values and aspirations. Strategic managemet has been developing during the time and will continue to improve. All employees are involved in the strategic management in realising objectives planned. But the company should decide which department is going to be the main figure in realising the project. The most important in this process is the board of directors, top management and the planning department and their influence in the process. Many strategic management tools are developed to find, choose and form the strategy. such as SWOT analisy, TOWS, PEST and STP analises, BCG matrics, ABC analisy, ANSFFOV matrics, VRIO method. Some tools are for external and some for internal environment. When a company wants to decide in a quality and effectve way about certain cases strategic tools can help a lot.
