Abstract
Predmet diplomskog rada je proučavanje društveno odgovornog poslovanja financijskih institucija u Republici Hrvatskoj s ciljem utvrđivanja posluju li financijske institucije društveno odgovorno te imaju li odgovarajuće modele sustava upravljanja sukobom interesa koji osiguravaju njihovo zakonito, transparentno i društveno odgovorno poslovanje. Financijske institucije, kao društva koja pružaju i obavljaju investicijske usluge i aktivnosti i pomoćne usluge, provode širok raspon aktivnosti koji mogu dovesti do situacija sukoba interesa. Društveno odgovorno poslovanje odnosi se na način na koji financijske institucije usvajaju, implementiraju i provode politike upravljanja sukobom interesa te uspostavljaju djelotvorne organizacijske i administrativne mehanizme koji osiguravaju poduzimanje svih potrebnih mjera kako bi se spriječilo da prepoznati sukobi interesa negativno utječu na interese klijenta.
Abstract (english)
The subject of this paper is to study the corporate social responsibility of financial institutions in the Republic of Croatia with the aim of determining whether financial institutions operate in a socially responsible manner and whether they have appropriate models of conflict of interest management systems that ensure their legal, transparent and socially responsible operations. Financial institutions, as companies that are providing and performing investment services and activities and ancillary services, carry out a wide range of activities that can lead to situations of conflict of interest. Corporate social responsibility refers to how financial institutions adopt, implement and enforce conflict of interest management policies and put in place effective organizational and administrative mechanisms to ensure that all necessary steps are taken to prevent identified conflicts of interest from adversely affecting the client's interests.
