The home for the elderly and the disabled can provide all forms of accommodation or stay: permanent accommodation, weekly accommodation, temporary accommodation, full-time and half-day stay. Depending on the type of accommodation it provides services: housing, nutrition, personal hygiene maintenance, health care, nursing, professional social work services, work activities and leisure time use. Over the last few years, an increasing number of older people are growing and an increase in the number of people older than 60 is expected to double. The elderly population has a significant impact on the development of the country. Which means higher costs for pension, health and social care. It is a sensitive group where the conditions need to be created for their social inclusion, the removal of obstacles and the enjoyment of enjoyment in their rights. Although older people seem to be equal, they do not agree. The state and society should provide them with a better life. Today's generations are on the average more vital, educated, more informative, more financially independent, more resilient, but more aware of their rights and more persistent in their demands to enjoy these rights and long live. Although the indicators for the City of Zagreb are somewhat more favorable, the accelerated aging process affects its population. However, better care and greater quality in the care of the home user would be easier to follow and follow through a better structured and organized service that would have only one task - to deal with human potentials.
