Abstract
Danas se živi u informacijskom dobu i tehnologija se razvija iz dana u dan. Od mobilnih telekomunikacija preko digitalne televizije do računalno kontroliranih domova, svakodnevno se suočava s novom tehnologijom na radnim mjestima i domovima. Pojavom interneta i prvim e-mailom započeo je razvoj medija. Od tada su se razvile razne vrste medija, a tako i razne vrste društvenih mreža. Društvene mreže su često opisane kao cjelina različitih aplikacija i platformi pomoću kojih se uspostavljaju odnosi između različitih individualaca, grupa ili organizacija. Uz sve dobre strane Interneta koji omogućuje lakši pronalazak bezbroj informacija kao i društvene mreže koje su tu za brzu komunikaciju, postoje i loše strane i opasnosti koje mogu vrebati s interneta ili društvenih mreža. Cilj ovog završnog rada je objasniti kako Internet i društvene mreže stvaraju probleme populaciji s prekomjernim korištenjem koje stvara ovisnost. Prvo je objašnjena povijest i razvoj interneta, te kako je on olakšao svakodnevicu života ljudi. U njegove brojne prednosti navedeni su i nedostaci kojima se mogu korisnici susresti. Uz sve blagodati Interneta objašnjene su i pravila ponašanja na internetu zbog sigurnosti i otklanjanja mogućih opasnosti. Također navedene su i društvene mreže kao i njihov razvoj do danas. Kao glavnu zadaću društvenih mreža ističe se promocija putem njih i jedan od glavnih besplatnih kanala za oglašavanje tvrtka. Nadalje, posebna pažnja posvećena je ovisnostima novog doba, takozvano ovisnost o internetu. Pojašnjeno je koje su vrste ovisnosti o internetu. Kao pretjerano korištenje interneta, nabrojani su simptomi i posljedice ovisnosti. I kako bi se smanjilo prekomjerno korištenje interneta, nabrojani su i načini prevladavanja ovisnosti o internetu ili društvenim mrežama.
Abstract (english)
We live in a world of technology these days and that technology is developing day by day. New technology is involved in our private and works lives in all aspects, from mobile telecommunications to computer-controlled homes. The development of the media began with the advent of the Internet and e-mails. Since then, various types of media have been developed, especially various types of social networks. Social networks are usually described as applications and platforms where individuals, groups, and organizations can communicate with each other. Despite many good sides of the Internet and social networks like real-time communication and access to information, there are also bad sides and dangers that can be hidden on the Internet and social networks. The goal of this thesis is to explain how the Internet and social networks made the population addicted to their excessive use. At the beginning of the thesis, the history and evolution of the Internet, together with its good impact on people's lives are explained. Among Internet's many advantages, there are also described disadvantages that users may encounter. There are also guidelines for safety on the Internet and the elimination of possible dangers. There is also a list of the most popular social networks and a description of their development up to date. The main task of social networks is promotion through them and one of the main free channels for company advertising. Furthermore, high attention is given to the additions of the new era, the so-called Internet addiction with an explanation of its types. There are also symptoms and consequences of excessive use of the Internet and in the end, the ways to overcome Internet addiction are explained.
