Abstract
Medijska i informacijska pismenost ključne su kompetencije u svijetu moderne tehnologije. Djeca i mladi od malih su nogu izloženi velikom i potencijalno opasnom utjecaju masovnih medija. Iako je primarna funkcija medija informirati, oni se sve više koriste za komunikaciju, igru, zabavu i opuštanje. Danas je lakše nego ikada pronaći sve informacije putem moderne tehnologije i upravo iz tog razloga potrebno je naučiti kritički razmišljati i analizirati sadrža koji nam je ponuđen. Mediji nam pružaju mnogo sadržaja koji naše živote obogaćuju, omogućuju nam stjecanje novih znanja i spoznaja, a s druge strane su zasićeni neprimjerenim sadržajima i manipulacijama.
Abstract (english)
Media and information literacy are key competencies in the world of modern technology. Children and young people are exposed to the great and potentially dangerous influence of mass media from an early age. Although the primary function of media is to inform, they are increasingly used for communication, play, entertainment and relaxation. Today, it is easier than ever to find all the information through modern technology, and for this very reason it is necessary to learn to think critically and analyze the content that is offered to us. The media provides us with a lot of content that enriches our lives, enables us to acquire new knowledge and insights, and on the other hand, it is saturated with inappropriate content and manipulations.
