Abstract
Proces brendiranja i upravljanje istim zahtijeva ulaganje velikih financijskih te intelektualnih napora. Marketing turisticke destinacije te njezinih lokaliteta i atrakcija specifičan je te kompleksan, zahtjeva uključenost svih dionika, a sve u cilju stvaranja prepoznatljivog imidža na današnjem konkurentnom globalnom tržištu. Republika Hrvatska, kao i grad Vukovar, poznati su po svojoj povjesti te bogatoj kulturnoj baštini koju je potrebno iskoristit za izgradnju imidža. Jedan je od nacionalnih identiteta grada Vukovara Vukovaski vodotoranj. Kako bi se utvrdila prepoznatljivost Vukovarskog vodotornja kao nacionalnog identiteta provedeno je anketno online istraživanje na uzorku od 157 ispitanika.
Abstract (english)
The process of branding and managing requires a great deal of financial and intellectual effort. Marketing of a tourist destination and its localities and attractions is specific and complex, requires the involvement of all stakeholders, all in order to create a recognizable image in today's competitive global market. The Republic of Croatia, as well as the city of Vukovar, are known for their history and rich cultural heritage that needs to be used to build an image. One of the national simbols of Vukovar is the Vukovar Water Tower. In order to determine the recognizability of the Vukovar water tower as a national identity, an online survey was conducted on a sample of 157 respondents.
