Abstract
Kulturni centri su višenamjenske ustanove otvorene različitim tipovima društva, prilagodljive za suradnje i razmjene programa na lokalnoj, regionalnoj i međunarodnoj razini. Kulturni centri predstavljaju mjesto okupljanja ljudi zajedničkih ili sličnih interesa te čine kulturni identitet neke lokalne zajednice. Djelatnosti kulturnog centra su raznolike budući da većina centara u svom prostoru posjeduje dvoranu, prostorije za stvaralačke aktivnosti, koncertnu dvoranu, galeriju, biblioteku, prostorije za upravu, ugostiteljstvo odnosno kafić za polaznike programa i dvorište. Svaki kulturni centar je specifičan po programu koji provodi u svojoj zajednici. Na službenim stranicama Grada Zagreba nalazi se ukupno 15 kulturnih centara i narodnih učilišta, osnivač je Grad Zagreb. Kulturni centri suradnje realiziraju kroz sudjelovanje aktera iz neposrednog okruženja pružajući lokalnoj zajednici priliku za upoznavanje kulturnih sadržaja i kreativno izražavanje. Kulturni centri u današnjem vremenu su suočeni s velikim izazovima koji su se našli pred njima kao što su sve slabije financiranje programa iz gradskog proračuna, epidemija Covid – 19 koja je oslabila i promijenila kulturnu scenu i nove navike većine posjetitelja. U zadnjih godinu dana kulturni centri morali su pronaći nove modele za rad i pokušati uspješno prevladati sve izazove.
Abstract (english)
Cultural centers are multi-purpose institutions open to different types of society, adaptable for cooperation and exchange of programs at the local, regional and international levels. Cultural centers are a gathering place for people with common or similar interests and form the cultural identity of a local community. The activities of the cultural center are diverse since most centers have a hall, rooms for creative activities, a concert hall, a gallery, a library, administration rooms, catering or a cafe for program participants and a yard. Each cultural center is a specific program that it implements in its community. On the official website of the City of Zagreb there are a total of 15 cultural centers and public colleges, the founder is the City of Zagreb. Cultural centers realize cooperation through the participation of actors from the immediate environment, providing the local community with the opportunity to get to know cultural content and creative expression. Cultural centers nowadays face major challenges facing them such as declining funding for programs from the city budget, the Covid-19 epidemic that has weakened and changed the cultural scene, and new habits for most visitors. In the last year, cultural centers have had to find new models to work with and successfully overcome all challenges.
