Abstract
U današnje doba interneta i razvoja sve većeg broja uređaja koji su naslonjeni na internetske i telekomunikacijske tehnologije, djeca postaju sve izloženija sadržajima koje nude novi mediji. Neovisno o tome jesu li djeca izložena sadržajima koje donose ti mediji aktivno ili pasivno, ona provode veliki dio svoga vremena u interakciji s tim medijima. Naravno da takva konstelacija može rezultirati većim ili manjim utjecajem medija za život i razvoj djece. S obzirom na brzi razvoj tehnologije, šire se područja na kojima novi mediji ostvaruju utjecaj na djecu i mlade te se ujedno javljaju i novi modaliteti kojima novi mediji djeluju na djecu i mlade. Budući da takav razvoj događaja ovu problematiku čini uvijek aktualnom, predmet ovoga rada jest utjecaj novih medija na djecu i njihovu budućnost. Cilj ovog rada jest utvrditi kako novi mediji utječu na djecu i mlade u pet različitih područja: rodna uloga i rodna ravnopravnost, zdravlje, nasilje, učenje, seksualno ponašanje, socijalizacija te emocionalni život djeteta.
Abstract (english)
In today's age of the Internet and the development of an increasing number of devices that rely on Internet and telecommunications technologies, children are becoming more and more exposed to the content offered by new media. Regardless of whether children are exposed to the content brought by these media actively or passively, they spend a large part of their time interacting with these media. Of course, such a constellation can result in a greater or lesser influence of the media on the life and development of children. Given the rapid development of technology, the areas in which new media have an impact on children and young people are expanding, and at the same time there are new modalities by which new media affect children and young people. Since such developments always make this issue topical, the subject of this paper is the impact of new media on children and their future. The aim of this paper is to determine how new media affect children and young people in five different areas: gender role and gender equality, health, violence, learning, sexual behavior, socialization and the emotional life of the child.
