This thesis defines the terms related to branding and rebranding and presents the results of research and interview related to the recognizability of the confectionery factory Zvečevo and their brand Mond chocolate bar. Branding is the process of creating a name, symbol, or design that identifies a product or service, while rebranding is a marketing strategy in which existing elements of the brand are changed due to certain changes in the company’s business. The paper presents examples of rebranding of well-known world brands in the confectionery industry, and the rebranding of the Zvečevo chocolate factory was chosen for the practical part. Zvečevo is located in Slavonska Požega and is best known for the popular Mikado chocolate with rice, the brands "Samo ti", "Volim te", "Seka i Braco" and the chocolate bar Mond. The practical part of the paper also includes the redesign of Mond, and suggestions for the appearance of Zvečevo store are presented. The rebranding of Zvečevo and the redesign of the Mond chocolate bar is based on a survey conducted among 260 respondents belonging to Generation Z. And an interview with the marketing manager of Zvečevo provided insight into their current situation and planning activities in the future.
