The topic of this final paper is the analysis and comparison of the two most popular social networks in the world. For comparison purposes, a survey questionnaire was created for SMEs to help me explain the power of digital advertising. There are a number of benefits that digital advertising offers, if we consider traditional advertising. Whether it’s television commercials or radio commercials, and even trade flyers offered by traditional advertising, digital advertising in today’s world is much cheaper and more affordable. Not to mention the feedback that is enabled with digital advertising is far better and the numbers are instantly accessible and visible. Anyone can advertise, but even in the digital world there are rules that must be followed. Just as traditional forms of advertising required specific filters and target audiences, so does digital advertising. It is always important to know who our target audience is, who we are addressing and who we want to show the brand or product to. Not everything is intended for everyone and for every social network. Through seven chapters I will show the advantages and disadvantages of these social networks. Digital networking as a consequence of Facebook which, although not the first, began to digitally bring people together and use chat to communicate with people. Three hypotheses were written before the analysis and interpretation of the survey questionnaire. Finally, I will compare both social networks and highlight their benefits, and one that offers better advertising opportunities and a better audience.
