Abstract
Tema rada je Poslovno pregovaranje i bonton na međunarodnom tržištu što ukazuje na jednu veoma kompleksnu ali zanimljivu temu o poslovnom pregovaranju u Europi i izvan Europe. Glavni cilj istraživanja u ovom radu je definirati i sistematizirati znanje o značajkama poslovnog pregovaranja i bontona u različitim zemljama, dok je predmet istraživanja u ovom radu analiza različitosti u poslovnom pregovaranju i bontonu na međunarodnom tržištu. Rad je pružio teorijski uvid u međunarodno poslovno komuniciranje zemalja koje su članice Europske Unije: Njemačka, Nizozemska, Francuska, Austrija, Finska, Hrvatska, zemalja koje nisu članice EU te zemalja izvan europskog područja kao što su Kina, Japan, SAD, Ujedinjeni Arapski Emirati. Među svim navedenim zemljama postoje velike sličnosti u oslovljavanju i poslovnom odijevanju. Svi su skloni konzervativnom i formalnom pristupu jer tako mogu izbjeći moguće neugodnosti i neuspjeh. No, ono što stvara poslovnu distinkciju među svim tim zemljama je kultura. Uočene su barijere u međunarodnom tržišnom komuniciranju. Primjerice, pogreške u prijevodu mogu izazvati neuspjeh poslovnog pothvata jer jedna riječ može u jednoj državi izazvati pozitivnu konotaciju a drugoj biti uvredljiva. Odličan primjer je auto model Silver Mist ( Rolls Royce poduzeće je pravovremeno promijenio ime svojeg modela Silver Mist u Silver Shadow prije ulaska na njemačko tržište.) Mist ima neugodno značenje za Nijemca. Sve više je prisutan BATNA i ZOPA koncept pregovaranja na poslovnoj sceni jer ne samo pojednostavljuje proces pregovaranja već dovodi do pozitivnih rezultata. Stoga, izvrsno poznavanje kulture, poslovnog bontona i pregovaračkih stilova mogu doprinijeti izvrsno poslovnom rezultatu ali i zadovoljstvu postignutim.
Abstract (english)
The topics of this paper is „ Business negotiation and etiquette in the international market“ and it shows very interesting and complex topic about business in negotiation through Europe and outside Europe. The main purpose of research is to define and systemize facts about features of business negotiation and etiquette in different countries. The subject of research is to analyse distinctions in business negotiation and etiquette on the international market. This paper gives insight into international business communication for the EU members: Germany, The Netherlands, France, Austria, Finland, Croatia and EU non member countries : Turkey and Russia and countries outside Europe: China, Japan, The United States of America, the United Arabian Emirates. Among all mentioned countries, there are a lot of similarities in business titles and business dress code. All countries have tended to have conservative and formal assess because in that way they avoid possible unpleasant situations and unsucesss. But, it creates business distinction among all these countries. The barriers in international market communication are observed. For example, the translation mistakes can cause an unsuccessful business deal. One word can be positively interpreted in one country but in another it can be offensive. An excellent example is car Silver Mist ( the Rolls Royce company had timely changed the name of car model into Silver Shadow before they entered the German market) Mist is an unpleasant meaning for German. BATNA and ZOPA negotiation concept are more and more presented on business scene. An excellent knowledge about culture, business etiquette can contribute greatly to business results and pleasure.
