Abstract
Tema ovoga rada jest komunikacija putem simbola. U nastavku rada prikazat će se uloga simbola u komunikaciji te utjecaj rasizma i simbola kroz povijest čovječanstva sve do danas. Ljudska komunikacija temelji se na raznim vrstama simbola koji se povezuju u složeni sistem, kako bi se omogućilo fiksiranje ogromnog broja pojmova o raznim stvarima i pojavama te o njihovim svojstvima i odnosima među njima. Simbolička komunikacija proizlazi iz unaprijed određenog značenja u svrhu prenošenja poruka... More neke zajednice ili čovječanstva. Usvajajući jezik svoje zajednice, pojedinac posjeduje i veliki broj simbola te kroz svoj razvoj stvara nove. Sistem simbola omogućava pojedincu izražavanje spoznaja i ideja do kojih je došao na temelju svojih sposobnosti. Korištenje simbola, a posebno razvijenog jezika od velikog su značaja za napredak čovjeka i društva. Složenom organizacijom simbola prevladavaju se ograničenja koja priroda stvara čovjeku. Sistem simbola također je važan za socijalizaciju i razvoj osobnosti pojedinca. Simbolima se osim prijenosa vlastitih iskustva svladavaju prostorne i vremenske udaljenosti. Less
Abstract (english)
The topic of this paper is communication through symbols. In the continuation of the paper, the role of symbols in communication and the influence of racism and symbols throughout the history of mankind until today will be presented. Human communication is based on various types of symbols that are connected into a complex system, in order to enable the fixation of a huge number of concepts about various things and phenomena and about their properties and relations between them. Symbolic... More communication derives from a predetermined meaning for the purpose of conveying the messages of a community or humanity. By adopting the language of his community, the individual possesses a large number of symbols and through his development creates new ones. The system of symbols allows an individual to express the knowledge and ideas he has come to based on his abilities. The use of symbols, and especially developed language, are of great importance for the progress of man and society. The complex organization of symbols overcomes the limitations that nature creates for man. The system of symbols is also important for the socialization and development of an individual’s personality. In addition to transmitting one's own experiences, symbols overcome spatial and temporal distances. Less
