Abstract
U ovom završnom radu analizirat će se horor filmu te njegov kulturni i umjetnički utjecaj u svakodnevnom životu. Predstavit će se povijest horor žanra i analizirat će se svaki njegov podžanr. Obranit će se teza “Uloga publike u stvaranju i promoviranju horor filmova” s referencom na dječji animirani film Coraline kod kojeg su ciljana publika djeca. Za ovaj su završni rad korišteni različiti izvori, od stručnih članaka do stručnih knjiga o filmovima. Definirani su pojmovi horor priče i horor žanra te svaki njegov podžanr i pojam publike.
Abstract (english)
This final paper will analyze horror film and its cultural and artistic impact in everyday life. The history of the horror genre will be presented and each of its subgenres will be analyzed. The thesis “The role of the audience in creating and promoting horror films” will be defended with a reference on children's animated film Coraline, which targets children. Various sources were used for this final paper, from professional articles to professional books on films. The terms of horror story and horror genre are defined, as well as each of its subgenres and the term of audience.
