Abstract
Tema ovog rada je prikaz semiotskih i retoričkih tvorbi vizualnih elemenata filma i serije Twin Peaks. Metakomunikacijska uloga kadroviranja ponajprije je analizirana postupcima retorike i stilistike, a preuzimanjem stilskih figura iz fundusa književnosti i njihovim inkorporiranjem u filmski diskurs predočuje se aktualnost antičke metodologije na suvremene umjetničke forme kao što su film i televizijska serija. Pod pretpostavkom da vizualni elementi nose u sebi značenje, primijenjena je semiotska analiza za analizu scenografije, kostimografije i rekvizite, ali i sveopće narativne atmosfere. Polazišne točke su dva osnovna semiološka pristupa znaku i značenju; prvi se temelji na De Saussureovoj podjeli znaka na označitelja i označeno a drugi na Barthesovoj metodi 5 kodova. Smisao i svrha ovakve analize simboličko-značenjskih praksi jest prikazati slojevitost vizualnog izričaja čije funkcioniranje počiva na razumjevanju kulturoloških, semiotičkih, društvenih i umjetničkih znanja čiji međusobni splet čini specifičan vizualni diskurs.
Abstract (english)
The theme of this work is the presentation of semiotic and rhetorical formations of the visual elements of the film and the Twin Peaks series. The meta-communication role of framing is primarily analysed by the procedures of rhetoric and stylistics, and by taking over stylistic figures from the literature and incorporating them into the film discourse, the actuality of the ancient methodology on contemporary art forms such as film and television series is presented. The starting points are two basic semiological approaches to the sign and meaning; the first is based on De Saussure's division of the sign into the signifier and marked and the second on the Barthes method of 5 codes. The meaning and purpose of this analysis of symbolic-meaning practices is to show the layering of visual expression and its functioning which is based on understanding combination of cultural, semiotic, social, and artistic knowledge and whose combination creates a thoughtful visual discourse.
