Abstract Vojska se ne može održavati, kretati, hraniti, opremiti, niti provoditi borbena djelovanja bez dobro organizirane logističke potpore. Upravljanje vojskom je i u mirnodopskim uvjetima skupo i složeno, a vođenje oružanog sukoba je pogotovo kompleksno i zahtijeva visoku razinu organizacije i planiranja odnosno dobru logističku potporu. U velikom broju oružanih sukoba u svijetu upravo je logistička potpora bila presudna za pobjedu jedne od zaraćenih strana. Informacijska tehnologija ima ključnu ulogu u povećanju učinkovitosti vojne logistike, kako u mirnodopskim tako i u ratnim uvjetima. Radio frekvencijske identifikacija (RFID) je bežična i beskontaktna tehnologija nastala u vojnim laboratorijima. To je tehnologija koja se koristi radiofrekvencijskim valovima za razmjenjivanje informacija između prijenosnih uređaja/memorija i računala. Olakšava praćenje, nadzor i identificira specifične proizvode, poput oružja. Međutim, postoje i brojne dvojbe oko uporabe takve tehnologije u vojnoj logistici, prvenstveno glede moguće sigurnosne ugroze ali i cijene tehnologije. Predmet istraživanja ovog preddiplomskog završnog rada je, kako i sam naslov kaže, analizirati mogućnosti primjene RFID tehnologije u suvremenoj vojnoj logistici. Da bi dobili prikaz mogućnosti primjene RFID tehnologije u vojnoj logistici istražuju se prije svega primarni izvori podataka – knjige, kao i sekundarni izvori u koje ulaze relevantni izvori podataka koji se mogu prikupiti na internetu. Analizom dostupne literature i izvora dostupnih na internetu zaključeno je da je primjena RFID tehnologije u suvremenoj vojnoj logistici svrhovita odnosno da se primjenom ove tehnologije može poboljšati kvaliteta sustava vojne logistike.
Abstract (english) The army cannot be maintained, moved, fed, equipped, or conduct combat operations without well-organized logistical support. Managing the army even in peacetime conditions is expensive and complex, and conducting an armed conflict is especially complex and requires a high level of organization and planning, i.e. good logistical support. In a significant number of armed conflicts in the world, logistical support was crucial for the victory of one of the warring parties. Information technology plays a key role in increasing the efficiency of military logistics, both in peacetime and wartime conditions. Radio frequency identification (RFID) is a wireless and contactless technology created in military laboratories. It is a technology that uses radio frequency waves to exchange information between portable devices/memory and computers. It facilitates the tracking, surveillance and identification of specific products, such as weapons. However, there are also numerous doubts about the use of such technology in military logistics, primarily regarding the possible security threat but also the price of the technology. The research subject of this Undergraduate Final Thesis is, as the title says, to analyze the possibilities of applying RFID technology in modern military logistics. In order to get an overview of the possibility of applying RFID technology in military logistics, first of all primary data sources - books, as well as secondary sources that include relevant data sources that can be collected on the Internet - are investigated. By analyzing the available literature and sources available on the Internet, it was concluded that the application of RFID technology in modern military logistics is purposeful, that is, that the quality of the military logistics system can be improved by applying this technology.
