Abstract
U ovom radu istražena je povijest i razvoj grafita kao načina vizualne komunikacije između umjetnika i promatrača koja započinje u vrijeme špiljskog čovjeka te traje sve do današnjeg dana kada se s njima susrećemo na svakom koraku. U radu su opisane vrste grafita kao što su Bomb, Piece, Tag, Throw up, Wild style, Burner i Mural s popratnim slikovnim prikazom svake pojedine vrste. Obrađeni su najpoznatiji projekti i manifestacije u Hrvatskoj kojima se promovira grafiterstvo kao umjetnost, a ne vandalizam. Opisani su projekti Muzej ulične umjetnosti, Projekt OKOLO, Bijele noći, Manifestacija Spajalice Rijeka, Projekt „Riši i Briši“, Flora Art i Art park Zagreb. Prikazani su načini na koje se grafiti pozitivno promoviraju na državnoj razini na način vizualnog uređenja modernih i urbanih sredina. U radu se prikazuje povezanost grafiterstva s hip hop kulturološkom scenom u modernije doba te utjecaj na popularizaciju grafita kao grane. Također, u radu se nastoji prikazati razlika između grafiterstva kao umjetnosti i uličnog vandalskog čina.
Abstract (english)
This paper examines the history and development of the graffiti as a way of visual communication between the artist and the observer which started at the age of the cave man, and continues to this day when we encounter them at every step. This paper explains different types of graffiti such as Bomb, Piece, Tag, Throw up, Wild style, Burner and Mural including pictures accompanying each type. The most famous projects and manifestations that promote graffiti as a type of art, not ordinary vandalism are analyzed. The projects like the Museum of street art, Project OKOLO, White Nights, The Spiderworks Rijeka, Project "Riši and Briši", Flora Art and Art Park Zagreb have been described. The ways in which graffiti is positively promoted on a state level as a sort of visual arrangement of modern and urban environments are described. The paper presents the connection of graphic art with the hip hop cultural scene in modern times and the impact on the popularization of graffiti. Also, the paper attempts to depict the difference between graffiti as art and ordinary vandalism.
