In this paper, research will be based on identifying and understanding the role of Africa in the world, through economic, demografic and cultural point of view. After decades of being economical wasteland,middle class in Africa is growing rapidly, which guarantees consumption, with many African countries showing enviable economic progress. The research subject in this paper examines development and growth od Africa through last decade and aim of the subject is to analyze and to show development od Africa as a continent that has been dealing with many extern and intern restrictions and with many possibilities of development. Africa's main feature, however, is underdevelopment. Namely, with the share of 20% in the world and 15% in the world population, Africa generates only about 3.2% of global GDP. V The analysis will focus more in detail on the untapped development potential of the African continent. Africa is a continent on the rise and has a great opportunity to reach and surpass other continents and countries with labor and consumer numbers. Can Africa finally be shown in a different light? Can religion, media, internet and the global economy affect the consciousness of the people of Africa and the development of Africa?
