Abstract
Najviši stupanj menadžerske aktivnosti čini strateški menadžment kojeg bismo mogli definirati kao interaktivni proces koji uključuje pet faza: analizu okoline, postavljanje usmjerenja organizacije, formuliranje strategije, implementaciju strategije, kontrolu i evaluaciju strategije. Osnovne značajke funkcioniranja menadžmenta u hotelijerstvu jesu odabir suradnika, rad s grupom, rad s velikim brojem gostiju, rad s grupama u okružju, znanje i vještine u pravilnom formiranju hotelskog proizvoda, racionalno korištenje resursa u kojima se formira hotelski proizvod. Strategijska pitanja mogu se odnositi kako na održavanje ili poboljšavanje postojeće strategijske pozicije u okvirima hotelske industrije, tako i na izbor novih poslovnih područja tj. domaćih ili stranih turističkih tržišta. Menadžment stoga mora biti usmjeren na tražnju kritičnih izvora za stvaranje posebne kompetentnosti. Glavni elementi strateškog menadžmenta u hotelijerstvu stoga su tema pisanja ovog rada.
Abstract (english)
The highest level of managerial activity is strategic management, which we could define as an interactive process that includes five phases: environmental analysis, setting the direction of the organization, formulating a strategy, implementing a strategy, controlling and evaluating a strategy. The basic features of the management in the hotel industry are the selection of associates, working with a group, working with a large number of guests, working with groups in the environment, knowledge and skills in properly forming a hotel product, rational use of resources in which a hotel product is formed. Strategic issues can relate to maintaining or improving the existing strategic position within the hotel industry, as well as the choice of new business areas, ie. domestic or foreign tourism markets. Management must therefore be focused on seeking critical sources to create specific competence. The main elements of strategic management in the hotel industry are therefore the topic of writing this paper.
