| Abstract | Neverbalni govor igra veliku ulogu u našoj percepciji sugovornika. Cijelo tijelo govori neku priču – od lica, položaja ruku i nogu, tona glasa, držanja i stava tijela, pa sve do položaja gdje sugovornik stoji. Upravo taj govor tijela može nam potvrditi ili naglasiti sugovornikovu poruku, ali nam i ukazati na to da on laže. U današnje vrijeme sve se više razvijaju digitalni mediji poput podcasta koji nam donose intervjue s političarima, pjevačima, glumcima, boksačima i slično koji nam govore neke informacije. Iz njihovog govora tijela svašta se može zaključiti te otkriti laži ili istine. Koristeći sekundarnu metodu prikupljanja podataka objašnjeno je što je verbalni, a što neverbalni govor, koje su razlike između njih i zašto nam je svaka od ovih komunikacija bitna. Izdvojeni su važni elementi neverbalne komunikacije poput facijalnih ekspresija, stava i držanja, gestikulacije, proksemičkih znakova i fizičkog izgleda te smo objasnili što su oni i zašto su važni. Sljedeće smo sve elemente potražili na podcastu Podcast Inkubator. Isto smo učinili i s nekim osnovnim značajkama za laganje. Zaključak je da je govor tijela izrazito bitan u podcastu. On nam ukazuje osjeća li se osoba ugodno tijekom podcasta, može nam reći o njenim emocijama tijekom podcasta, ali i ukazati na neke njezine stavove. Najmanju ulogu u podcastu imaju zapravo facijalne ekspresije jer često je u podcastima prikazano cijelo tijelo osobe, pa je facijalne ekspresije teško uočiti (poput očiju). Također trenutno proksemički znakovi ne daju puno informacija jer zbog epidemije bolesti korone postoji obavezni razmak između voditelja i gosta podcasta. Tijekom podcasta moguće je prepoznati znakove laganja. Doduše, teško je uočiti primjerice sužene zjenice ili treptanje, no usmjerenost pogleda ili pokriva li osoba usta moguće je zapaziti. Iako nam neverbalni znakovi daju bitne informacije o potencijalnom laganju sugovornika, i dalje je verbalno lakše otkriti laganje. |
| Abstract (english) | Non-verbal communication plays a major role in perception of interlocutor. The whole body tells a story - from the face, position of arms and legs, tone of voice, posture, all the way to the position where the interlocutor is standing. It is this body language that can confirm or emphasize the interlocutor's message, but also indicate that he is lying. Nowadays, digital media are increasingly evolving, such as podcasts that bring us interviews with politicians, singers, actors, boxers, and others, which tell us some information. From their body language, you could deduce a lot of things, including lying or telling truth. Using the secondary method of data collection, we explained what is verbal and what is non-verbal speech, what are the differences between them and why each of these communications is important to us. We singled out important elements of nonverbal communication such as facial expressions, posture, gestures, proxemic signs and physical appearance and explained what they are and why they are important to us. Next, we looked up the elements of non-verbal communication on the podcast Podcast Inkubator. We did the same with some basic indicators of lying. Conclusion is that body language is extremely important in a podcast. It tells us if a person feels comfortable during a podcast, can tell us about their emotions during a podcast, but also points out some of their views on various topics. The smallest role in a podcast has facial expressions because often the podcasts show the whole body of a person, so facial expressions are hard to spot (like eyes). Also, currently proxemic signs do not provide much information because due to the corona disease epidemic there is a mandatory gap between the host and the podcast guest. During the podcast, it is possible to recognize signs of lying. Admittedly, it is difficult to notice, for example, narrowed pupils or blinking, but the focus of the gaze or whether the person covers the mouth can be noticed. Although nonverbal cues give us important information about potential interlocutor lying, it is still easier to verbally detect lying. |
