Abstract
Obzirom na da mediji najbrže dopiru do javnosti te imaju veliku društvenu ulogu, možemo reći da su tiskovine, radio, televizija, digitalni mediji i društvene mreže te internet kao cjelina vladari današnjeg vremena. Uz društvenu mediji imaju i informativnu ulogu. Širenjem različitih komunikacijskih kanala i medija te jačanjem njihove uloge u javnosti, potaknuto je stvaranje tzv. medijskog društva. Mediji su time dobili bitnu ulogu u oblikovanju javnog mijenja, interesa, vrijednosti, te različitih društvenih, stručnih i političkih stavova. Koliko su mediji bitni posebno je vidljivo u kriznim situacijama, naročito u onima koje izazivaju strah i nesigurnost te predstavljaju određenu prijetnju sigurnosti. Jedna od takvih kriznih situacija je i terorizam. Terorizam je jedan od najvećih globalnih problema suvremenog doba i nerijetko generator ozbiljnih kriznih situacija. S obzirom na navedeno možemo reći da su teroristički napadi jedna vrsta komunikacije pojedinaca i skupina koji uporabom nasilja pokušavaju distribuirati svoju poruku široj javnosti. Vrsta terorizma i njegova povezanost s medijima jedan su od glavnih izazova s kojima se krizno komuniciranje suočava. Zadatak ovoga rada je naglasiti povezanost između medija i terorizma, terorističkog djela i njegovog medijskog prikaza, posljedica te kako na to utječe upravo izvještavanje u takvim okolnostima.
Abstract (english)
Since the fastest-reaching media has a major social role, we can say that newspapers, radio, television and internet leaders of the current time. With the social, they have an informative rule. By expanding different media and strengthening their role in the public, the development of society has moved to create a so-called Media companies. The media has thus gained an important role in forming a public change, interest, value and political attitudes. As much as the media is important, they are especially visible in crisis situations, especially in those that cause fear and insecurity and are a certain security threat and one of them is terrorism. Terrorism is one of the greatest global problems of the time-age and the irregular crisis situation generator. Given the stated words, we can say that terrorist attacks are a kind of communication of certain groups through violence. The type of terrorism and its connection to the media are one of the main challenges facing crisis communication. The task of this work is to emphasize the connection between the media and terrorism, the terrorist's work and its media display, and how it is to affect the reporting in such occasions.
