Abstract Predmet istraživanja ovog završnog rada su YouTuberi, nastali na jednoj od najutjecajnijih društvenih mreža modernog doba. Objasnit ćemo njezin značaj i utjecaj kroz par osobno izabranih YouTube kreatora, koji su ujedno i najveća lica platforme. Gledajući uspjeh ove platforme i lica na njoj, te kako ista oblikuje naš način razmišljanja proći ćemo kroz studiju slučaja (komparaciju) odabranih YouTubera, njihove utjecaje na publiku, tj. pretplatnike. Isto tako ćemo pomoću SWOT analize utvrditi koji od dva odabrana YouTubera ima više prednosti u svijetu današnjih medija, te bolju komunikaciju i odanost svojih pretplatnika. Nastojat ćemo otkriti modele komunikacije YouTubera sa svojim pretplatnicima, te faktore privlačnosti na kanalima odabranih YouTubera. Također, rad će obraditi najpopularnije žanrove video zapisa na YouTube platformi, te ispitati kako ti video uradci utječu na današnju medijsku kulturu i etiku života.
YouTube zajednica jedna je od društveno i internetski najaktivnijih zajednica, a osim toga i jedna od najutjecajnijih u životima mladih ljudi. Biti YouTuber je nekada značilo koristiti sve prednosti navedenog kanala i imati mogućnost objave vlastitih uradaka. S rastom i razvojem novih tehnologija, kao i promjenom paradigme masovnog komuniciranja, promijenile su se i mogućnosti korištenja YouTubea koji je pokazao sve potencijale utjecaja na publiku neovisno o kojoj je temi riječ. U ovome radu utvrdit ćemo kakav utjecaj YouTuberi imaju na svoje pretplatnike. Istražit ćemo po čemu se određeni YouTuberi razlikuju, kao i gdje se podudaraju, te kako čiji pretplatnici reagiraju na njihove objave. Definirat ćemo posljedice koje YouTuberi imaju na svijet, odnosno što bi budućnosti mogla držati za njih.
Abstract (english) The subject of research in this final paper are YouTubers, created on one of the most influential social networks of the modern age. We will explain its significance and influence through a couple of personally selected YouTube creators, who are also the biggest faces of the platform. Looking at the success of this platform and the faces on it, and how it shapes our way of thinking, we will go through a case study (comparison) of selected YouTubers, their impacts on the audience, ie subscribers. We will also use SWOT analysis to determine which of the two selected YouTubers has more advantages in the world of today's media, as well as better communication and loyalty of their subscribers. We will try to discover the models of YouTube communication with its subscribers, and the attractiveness factors on the channels of selected YouTubers. Also, the paper will cover the most popular video genres on the YouTube platform, and examine how these videos affect today’s media culture and ethics of life.
The YouTube community is one of the most socially and online-active communities, and also one of the most influential in the lives of young people. Being a YouTuber used to mean using all the advantages of this platform and being able to publish your own works. With the growth and development of new technologies, as well as the paradigm of mass communication, the possibilities of using YouTube have changed, which has shown all the potentials of influencing the audience, regardless of the topic. In this paper, we will analyze the impact YouTubers have on their subscribers. We will explore how certain YouTubers differ, as well as where they match, and how whose subscribers react to their posts. We will define the consequences that YouTubers have on the world, and how their future might look.
