Then it is important to start planing every detail of the event, the place, time, participants and prupose of the event. Different events and festivals are organized differently depending on the size or type of event, as each event provides a unique and special experience. Event marketing is an important component of any event, because it creates event creation through marketing tools. In this activites, the key role is played by the event managment, whose task is reflected in planning and organization, as well as in creatining quality and in its long-term sustainability. That is why events are extremely important in attracting tourists and creating their satisfaction. Through the event it is possible to provide authenticity and increase the value of the cultural riches of the destination for vacation. Some tourists visit events because they already know about the event or some find out about the event while they are in the destination. Poreč, as the city of great opportunities, offers its visitors a cultural heritage that connects it with various events. „Giostra“, as the Poreč Historical festival, is an ideal example of a combination of culture and entertainment, which has educational content. In cooperation with the Poreč Tourist Board and marketing agency Studio 053, Poreč festival Giostra is one of the most unique festivals in Croatia.
