The aim of this work is to determine the tools to create a successful speaker, and to ensure a successful public speaking and good presentation of themselves and the organization. Through the elements required to build the speech will be shown how to successfully use knowledge, skills and abilities of individuals. Every speech is composed of some basic elements, including public speaking. For successful speech it is necessary to go through elements such as verbal and non-verbal signs which allow high-quality presentation of the individual and the community itself. Successful performance in front of an audience should be prepared. In addition to the assembly of speech it is necessary to pass the stage of memorizing, which many incorrectly interpret. For fear of mistakes during the performance, most speakers, if not looking in the prepared text, enter it by heart which can give the audience know the uncertainty of the speaker voice. . In a public speech, speakers are taught to consciously control the speech,, however if it's just spoken word they are not speaking, only reading written. Successful communicator should think about written words and what they mean, only then it gets real speech. The study was conducted by analyzing the content on the paralinguistic and extralinguistic non-verbal signs during two public appearances of political leaders in Croatia. Prepared by the impact of non-verbal signs during the speech, and how the public perceives changes and readiness of speech. Examples show how two people from the political environment behave during the speech.
