Abstract
Turizam je danas jedna od vodećih djelatnosti u Republici Hrvatskoj. U suvremeno doba turisti imaju veće potrebe, koje nadmašuju isključivo kupališni ili kulturološki turizma. Oni se na neki način žele sjediniti s prirodom i pobjeći od svoje svakodnevice te kušati autohtona jela sredine u kojoj se nalaze i uživati u gastronomskim delicijama. U tu se svrhu sve više pažnje polaže u razvoj geoturizma kao segmenta turističke ponude te se ulaže u promociju i unapređenje kvalitete svih ugostiteljskih objekata koji su aktivni sudionice ponude. U ovome radu biti će analizirane najvažnije značajke gastronomije te će se na primjeru autohtone kuhinje otoka Brača predstaviti mogući resursi za razvoj geoturizma.
Abstract (english)
Tourism is today one of the leading industry in Croatia. In modern times tourists have greater needs, which exceed the purely bathing or cultural tourism. They somehow want to merge with nature and get away from your everyday life and taste the authentic dishes of the environment in which they are located and enjoy culinary delights. To this end, more attention taken in the development of geotourism as a segment of tourism and investing in the promotion and improvement of the quality of all the restaurants that are actively participating in the offer. In this paper will be analyzed the most important features of gastronomy and will be using the example of the indigenous cuisine of the island of Brac present possible resources for the development of geotourism.
