In the modern business world, great attention is paid to management. Over the last few decades, management has changed radically. The applications were mostly related to the fact that the emphasis was increasingly placed on human resources, communication and the formation of products and services in line with business objectives. In hotels, managers also play an extremely important role. This role is manifested in their strategic action in the internal and external market. Managers are the ones who manage the processes and functions in the hotel, its employees, guests, etc., but they also manage the marketing and all the elements of the marketing mix and marketing mix. The field of marketing management is extremely complex and demanding because it includes many elements, from product formation, price, market, promotion and distribution to people and processes. This is especially evident in hotels where the emphasis should always be placed on the quality of hotel service and work to improve that quality. This paper deals with the basic features and functions of the hotel company management, the strategic approach of the management as well as the strategic approach to marketing elements.
