This thesis is on street guerrilla marketing, which has emerged in the last thirty years as a popular type of marketing in the public space. In the constant race for every user and potential consumer, street guerrilla marketing can be seen as a tool or way of expression that allows companies to present themselves to the widest possible audience and influence them with the specific content of their messages. Likewise, street guerrilla marketing can be seen as a form of vandalism, because by definition, vandalism is unauthorized intervention into someone else is private or public property. In the everyday urban environment, street guerilla marketing is still a form of visual communication, and its message is available to everyone at any time, unlike conventional forms of marketing that are spread through other media. Although street guerrilla marketing has elements of street art and new media, it is actually a combination of these techniques and thus tries to convey the message to the end observer. Through this thesis, I will also touch upon the practicality of street guerrilla marketing, how it affects the observer, how it actively participates in social dialogue, and what are its advantages for small and medium-sized companies. The aim of this thesis is to show, using foreign and domestic examples of some street guerrilla marketing campaigns, why street guerrilla marketing can be considered a special type of visual communication.
