This paper is about design and redesign of products based on the business case of cars BMW. At the beginning, or at the theoretical part, definition of the concept and design will be introduced. The word "design" is actually a derivative of English, but it has been used in the mid-sixties as a standard word. Design features include industrial production, serial production and aesthetics. BMW has a complex industrial production process in which people and machines play an important role. With the development of technology, it is possible to create more demanding products, but a more precise plan for each production process is also required. The serial production of the BMW cars is large and each manufactured example retains excellent standards. Due to large offer and competition in the market, a large number of manufacturers use redesign of existing products, a process which transforms product to keep consumer attention. Based on this, this paper will be about the basic design and redesign of the BMW 5 Series E39 and E60 models. A new product design can make it easier for customers when buying because BMW has defined elements that will be changed to make consumers interested in purchasing a redesigned model.
