| Sažetak | Danas, kada je jedan od većih izazova interkulturalna komunikacija i očuvanje interkulturalnog identiteta, kada je humanost postala sinonim za slabost umjesto jakost, možemo biti sretni da smo imali priliku živjeti u istome vremenu s Đorđom Balaševićem. Đorđe Balašević savršen je primjer interkulturalnog komunikatora koji kroz svoje pjesme i romane povezuje dvije ili više kultura. Njegov način života, rad i stvaranje pokazuju da postoje ljudi koje ne dijele druge na lijeve i desne, krive i prave, bolje i loše, već ih „mjeri“ po onom organu u prsnom košu. Rijetki su oni kao on koji su kroz život kročili uzdignute glave sljedeći svoje snove i želje, a pritom šireći samo ljubav. On nije bio samo pjesnik, kantautor, kompozitor, pisac, glumac, sin, otac, muž. Đorđe Balašević bio je čovjek. U vremenu kada su se počele brisati granice među zemljama, narodima, kulturama, Đorđe Balašević brisao je nevidljive granice koje su duboko ukorijenjene u ljudima. Svi smo mi robovi okruženja, odgoja, kulture u kojoj odrastamo. A on, on je bio gumica koja polako, ali sigurno briše predrasude, stereotipe i naučene načine ponašanja. Iskoristio je najjači alat, a to su riječi. Poštujući kulturu i identitet svojih slušatelja, koristeći ljepotu i bogatstvo njihova jezika tkao je najljepše stihove i životne priče. Riječi koje su toliko moćne da u jednom trenu mogu stvarati, a u drugom sve razoriti. Đorđe Balašević pokazao nam je da emocija uvijek dopire do srca slušatelja i ima moć biti dijeljena. Ostavio nam je u naslijeđe neprocjenjivu ostavštinu u zalog - biti čovjek u svakom trenutku života. |
| Sažetak (engleski) | Today, when one of the greater challenges in the world is intercultural communication and the preservation of intercultural identity, when humanity became a synonym for weakness instead of strength, we can be happy to have had the opportunity to live at the same time as Đorđe Balašević. Đorđe Balašević is the perfect example of an intercultural communicator who, through his songs and novels, connects two or more cultures. His lifestyle, work and creations show that there are people who do not divide others onto left or right, wrong or right, better or worse, but “measure” them by the organ in their chest cavity. Rare are the ones who, like he, walk through life with their head held high, following their dreams and wishes, while at the same time only spreading love. He was not just a poet, singer-songwriter, composer, writer, actor, son, father, husband. Đorđe Balašević was human. In times when borders started to become erased among countries, peoples, and cultures, Đorđe Balašević erased the invisible borders which have long been enrooted in people. We are all slaves of our environment, upbringing, and the culture we grow up in. And he was the eraser who slowly, but surely, got rid of prejudices, stereotypes and learned ways of behaviour. He used the strongest of tools, and those are words. By respecting the culture and the identity of his audience, by using the beauty and the richness of their language, he has spun the most beautiful verses and life stories. The words are so powerful that at one point they can create, and in another – destroy everything. Đorđe Balašević has shown us that emotion always reaches the heart of the audience and has the power to be shared. He left an invaluable legacy as a pledge – to be human in every moment of one's life. |
