The theme of this dissertation is "Digital Banking on the example of Addiko bank Croatia". As we live in an age where we cannot escape from digitalization and constant advancement of technology, many industries including banking have been forced to adapt their business to a "new" age. Thus today, each bank is expected to provide its customers with a standard range of products through the digital channels provided for there, as internet and mobile banking to save time and facilitate access to finance. All banks in the vast majority of cases offer the same product with certain segments and functionalities by which it differs from the product of the competition. The reason I decided in this dissertation to take Addiko Bank for example is that Addiko Bank has made a breakthrough in digitization and marketed a digital product that has never been seen on our premises before. In addition to being the only one in Croatia to have the possibility to pay through the Viber app, it is also the only one in Croatia that offers clients of all banks the possibility of opening Basic package of current account or realizing Blic loan without coming to the branch and from the comfort of their own home. By complying with the laws in the Republic of Croatia and many other regulations applicable in the European Union, Addiko Bank has been able to digitize the classic loan processing and realization process of products as we know it today in the branch and allow all users to complete, submit and sign the loan application, current account agreement and other supporting relevant documentation necessary for the establishment of a business relationship. Since Addiko Virtual Branch is the only product of this type not only in the Republic of Croatia but also in the Balkans, I have dedicated most of my work to the description of the processes and functionalities used to enable users to have a quality user experience, but also to meet all the requirements laid down in the laws of the Republic of Croatia and other regulations affecting the bank's business.
